Monday, October 5th, 2009

Kids of all ages can scream with delight…or terror…at one of the popular Halloween extravaganza’s held annually in sunny Orlando. Halloween remains a special occasion at three of Orlando’s biggest theme parks, offering up a special treat for everyone.

The youngest can dress up and enjoy a fun filled trick or treat experience at SeaWorld’s Halloween Spooktacular or at Disney’s Magic Kingdom where Mickey’s not-so-scary Halloween Party takes center stage.

At SeaWorld, pumpkin fishes, friendly sea witches and dozens of fanciful sea creatures help distribute sweet treats and special memories. Children can also enjoy interactive games and activities as well as special Halloween entertainment.

Meanwhile, pirates and princesses alike will delight to the after-hours “special ticket” event at Magic Kingdom better known as Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. The Halloween fun runs from 7 pm til midnight on select evenings through Nov. 1.

Mickey’s Halloween festivities include the popular “Boo-to-You” Halloween Parade and a “Happy HalloWishes” fireworks spectacular, not to mention plenty of trick-or-treating fun and many Disney characters including Mickey and Minnie – all decked out in their Halloween costumes. Plus, the Magic Kingdom rides and attractions remain open all through the festivities.

For those interested in a true fright, there’s Universal Studios’ terror-ific Halloween Horror Nights, now in its 19th year of fun-filled scares!
